We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer specializing in Noise and Vibration (NVH) and Body Rigidity performance to join our dynamic team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the superior performance and quality of our vehicles, systems, and components through a combination of actual vehicle driving tests and advanced simulation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Verify Noise and Vibration (NVH) & Body Rigidity Performance: Conduct thorough testing and analysis of vehicle NVH and Body Rigidity to assess and validate performance levels. Utilize your expertise to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
  2. NVH & Body Rigidity Testing: Perform comprehensive NVH & Body Rigidity tests on vehicles, systems, and individual components. These tests will involve using specialized equipment and instrumentation to measure and analyze relevant data.
  3. CAE Simulation and Prediction: Employ Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software, including Finite Element (FE) and Boundary Element (BE) analysis, for NVH & Body Rigidity simulation and prediction. Leverage simulation results to optimize designs and anticipate potential issues.
  4. Collaboration with Design Engineers: Collaborate closely with our design engineers to provide valuable insights and support in enhancing NVH & Body Rigidity performance. Your expertise will contribute to creating robust and high-performing products.
  5. Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, including test parameters, methodologies, and instrumentation requirements. Efficiently execute tests, adhering to established timelines and safety protocols.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test data, interpret results, and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations. Present your findings to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate dedication to assigned tasks and actively seek opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, equipment, and processes. Embrace a continuous improvement mindset to elevate our testing capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Noise and Vibration (NVH) and Body Rigidity testing and analysis, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in using CAE software for NVH & Body Rigidity simulation, with a strong understanding of FE and BE analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in testing and data recording.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices.
  • Good command of spoken and written in English (TOEIC 600 up) or equivalent.
